Blessings

Hello there!  It's Cindy from In Love with Paper back on the blog with you today.  I've got a fun shaker card to share with you.

Since I wanted a square shaped shaker I went with a 5 inch square card base.  I recently got a new paper stack by The Paper Studio called The Mint Berry.  Love it with all of it's mint, pink and grey.  So good!  I picked a rose print for the background of the card and shaker.  I created the frame for the shaker using my Cricut and the Elegant Edges cartridge.

I've used some crafty foam tape to lift the frame to make the sequins move in the shaker.  I cut a piece of an acrylic sheet down to make the window of the shaker.  I've used Winter Mint & Watermelon Spritzer sequins mixes.  And I also used part of one of the sentiment stamps from the Friendship Blessings stamp set.  The whole sentiment didn't fit so I masked off the bottom words with some tape and only stamped the top word, Blessings on the frame.  I added some sequins in the corners of the frame with some Glossy Accents.  And finally some white decorative trim was added to the bottom of the card.

I hope I've inspired you to create something fun :-)

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!!  Yay!  I hope you all have a fabulous holiday with those that you love.  Let us be truly Thankful!

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
